25 dead, 32 injured in northern Nigeria city of Zaria.
At least 25 people have lost their lives after a bomb exploded at the Sabon-Gari local government council. The bomb was reported to have went off as people gather to welcomed the new chairman of the interim Management Committee of the local government to his office, local media reported. Ibrahim Mohamned, a local government worker, told reuters news agency that "three gunmen dressed in black opened fire inside the Secretariate". The Governor of the state Mallam Nasir El Rufai has visited the scene of the blast. More than 200 have been killed just one week for series of deadly attack. Two days ago, Boko Haram launched a deadly attack in Jos killing at least 44 people. No group has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
