Donald Trump has officially sworn in as 45th President of the United States.


    President Donald Trump has officially sworn in as the 45th president of the United States. The event was attended by millions of people world wide. In his inaugural speech, president Trump said he will put America first in everything and decisions henceforth. He said power has returned to the people. He said from today it will be " hire America and buy America" The era where politician complain without action is over. The President stressed that he will wipe out " Islamic terrorism" completely. He also said he will respect and expand all alliances of the United States .
        President Donald Trump said the era where U.S protect other nations while it leave America unprotected is over. He said " I will never let America down" " we bring back our job, our border and our dream".

   More than a million people gather in Washington, United States for the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United of America. Television footage showed past U.S President arriving at the historic event. Some notable people sported at the inauguration ceremony include, former President George Bush, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, outgoing President Barrack Obama,  Trump strong opponent, Hillary Clinton and many others.  The world is uncertain the position President Donald Trump will follow to govern the world. President Donald Trump, during his campaign promised to moved U.S embassy to Jerusalem but outgoing President Obama, in his last press briefing at the White House, urged President Trump not to take unilateral action on that regard.

Boko Haram denies Sambisa forest defeat in a new video.

    A man purported to be Boko Haram leader, Abubakah Shekau, has denied Nigeria Army claimed that it had captured the millitant headquarters in Sambisa forest few days ago. In a video released on Thursday, Boko Haram leader said its fighters has not been pushed out of its stronghold, Sambisa forest. He said that its fighters are safe and far away from any location where the Nigeria military can capture its members or defeat it. The video is about 25 minutes and Boko Haram claimed it was shot on Christmas day. In an exclusive report from Aljazeera on Wednesday, 28th December, 2016, parts of Sambisa forest was showed when the army claimed it had successfully destroyed the group. The report could not actually show the military based captured from the extremist group, saying it was too dangerous. 

92 Killed after Russian military plane crashed into Black Sea.


   A military plane belonging to Russia Armed Forces which was heading to Syria where Russian is currently helping President Assad to fight armed opposition had crashed into the Black Sea. The plane was carrying 92 military personnel including Russian army choir who were heading to Russia airbase in Syria to cheer up Russian Airforce on their recent victory in defeating Syria opposition armed forces in Aleppo who have been fighting the government of president Assad for more  than three years now. The plane was reported to have crashed shortly after taking off from the southern Russian city of Adler on Sunday morning. The caused of the crashed is not known at the moment but authority said terrorism may not be the cause of the crash. Crews from Channel One Russia, NTV, and the official News outlet of Russia Defense Military, each with  up to three members, were on board the aircraft. A prominent Humanitarian activist, Elizaveta Glinka was also on board the aircraft. All passengers on board the aircraft was believed to died.

75 killed as plane carrying Brazilian football team crashes in Columbia.


  A Charter Plane carrying the Brazilian football team crashed in Columbia, killing 75 people. The Plane was reported to have 81 people on board and was crashed after reporting electrical problems. The plane was carrying players, Coaches, journalists and invited guest of Brazilian soccer team to a football match. Television fotage shows dozens of bodies covered with white sheets around the wreckage. Report said, there have been frequent rain in the areas which might contributed to the crash.

Cuban Revolutionary leader, Fidel Castro is dead.


   Cuban State run television had announced the passing away of the country former president and Revolutionary leader, Fidel Castro. He was 90 years old. Castro led a powerful revolution which led to the overthrew of the regime of Fulgencio Batista in 1959. Castrol resumed as the country's leader from 1959 to 2008. Cuban had bitter relations with the United States after Castro allowed the then Soviet Union to host its missile system in the Island nation which promoted the  United States to imposed  crippling economic sanctions on Cuba. Castro temporary vhanded over power to his Junior brother after he undergone surgery. He will be remember by Cubans for bitter stand against the United States.

Bomb blast at Religion Shrine in Pakistan killed 43.


 At least 43 people have been killed after a powerful blast r
struck a religion gathering in Pakistan. The blast occured when some Muslim faithful were attending a popular religion dance at Dargah Shah Noorani Shrine. Pakistan's prime minister Nawaz Sharif concerned the attack. Emergency services are facing difficulty in reaching the site of the incident due to the location of the area. Many of the dead and injured were believed to be women and children. Baluchistan interior minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed the deadly blast that killed tens of people. Islamic State group was reported to have claimed responsibility for the attack.

Donald Trumph won U.S presidential election.

 Donald Triumph has won the U.S presidential election after winning key swing states of Florida, North Carolina and Ohio. According to online poll before the election, former US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton was expected to win the election in a slight victory but it was like an equake to many America as reserve is the case. Mr Trump pledged to be "president for all Americans" in a historic victory speech in Newyork. He said, its time to bind the wounds of division. Donald Trump got 47.9% of the vote with a total of 57,613,227 while Clinton got 47.3% of the vote with a total of 56,882,391. Donald Trump garbed more than 270 electoral vote, He will become the 45th President of the United State.

Iraqi forces launches biggest operation to retake Mosul from Islamic State.

  Iraqi forces and Kurdistan Peshmerga forces with the support of U.S advising forces and U.S coalition airstrikes had launched the biggest assault to retake Iraq second biggest city from Islamic State group. The operation is made of about 30,000 strong Iraqi  and Peshmerga forces. President of Iraq Kurdish region president Massoud Barzani said the Peshmerga had taken 200 km of territory from Islamic State within few hours of operations and commander said they have cleared several villages. The U.S said 5000 strong America forces are in Iraq foe advisory role to Iraq and Pesherga forces. Qatar based news network, Aljazeera reported on Saturday 22nd October, 2016 tha U.S forces in Iraq are wearing after a chemical factory was reported blew off by Islamic State fighters .According to the report one thousand people have been admitted to hospital after inhaling the smell from the burning chemical factroy reported to have blew off by Islamic State in South of Mosul.

13 people killed, more than 200 injured after 5.9 magnitude earhquake struck Tanzania.

                                                                         

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               At least 12 people lost their lives and more than 200 people injured after a magnitude earthquake measuring 5.9 struck norhwestern parts of Tanzania on Saturday. The earthquake was reported to have struck near Lake Victiria, according U.S Geological Survey. The earthquake was felt in as far as Kenya and Uganda. The earthquake was reported struck near the border with Uganda and Rwanda. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. Tanzania presidency office release a statement express shocked by report of the eathquake. Images on social media shows the level of damage caused by the earthquake as houses were seen completely destroyed. Earthquake has not been reported in Africa for decades as many people are surprised to see or hear such disaster in Africa continent.

Russia says Israeli , Palestinians leaders agree to meet in Moscow.

       Russia's Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that Israeli and the Palestinian leaders have agreed to meet in Moscow, the Russia capital for talk. Previous negotiation between Israel and Palestine had failed several times. United States had tried several times to reach peace deal between Israel and Palestine but all efforts failed. It is not actually clear when the talks will take place but Russia spokes person who announced the meeting said they had heared from the office of Israeli and Palestine leaders of the planned meeting. Palestinian leader have accused Israel several times of constructing settlement on its territory, saying such behaviour by Israel will hinder peace process between the two party. Israel settlement is illegal under international law.

       World leaders has gathered in China for this year G20 summit which started on Sunday in China city of Hangzhou. The leaders are expected to discussed global economic challenges and issues of global security such as the war in Syria, Yemen and Iraq. The issue of South China sea may still be mention probably when President Obama or Japanese leader is making their speech. China state run 24/7 news channel CCTV News and CCTV4 where airing live the event lives as world leader arrived at the venue. Chine state TV was the only international TV channels that was telecasting the event lives. The meeting was opened by Chines leader whose speach was translated in English and French on CCTV News and CCTV French. Senior Islamic State leader Abu Mohammad al-Adnani killed in airstrikes.


      A top Islamic State member has been killed in an airstrike which was claimed by Russia Defense ministry that the airstrikes was carried out by Russia Armed forces fighting stationed in Syria. Russian Defense military said the airstrike was conducted in Maaratat  Umm Hawsh area with its Su-34 figher jet. According to him, the jet trgeted a group of Islamic fighters numbering abouth 40 in numbers. U.S Defense offical reject Russia claimes, saying U.S carried out the attack. Two U.S defense official told Cable News Network ( CNN) that the attack was carried out by U.S drone not Russia. Islamic State news Agency Amaq , said that Abu Mohammed died while inspecting military operations in the area of Alepo. Russia coud not provide any evidence of the air attack to back its claimed.

Gabon House Assembly set Ablaze by angry protesters .


     Angry protesters has set Gabon House of Assembly Ablaze after the country incumbent leader, President Ali Bongo wa re-elected in a very narrow margin. The protesters took to the street after the country election authority announced the result of the election. president Ali Bongo is the son of the former longtime ruler of the country, Omar Bongo. President Ali Bongo was first elected in 2009 after he succeeded his fahther as the president of Gabon. The opposition leader Jean Ping who contested the election with him told Aljazeera by telephone even before the result was released that he won the election. He stressed that based on the figure he had at hand, he had won. Gabon president on live broadcast to the nation which was broadcast live on state run television Gabon 24 claimed the election was peaceful and call for calm. The result was the closet in the history of Gabon. According to official result, President Bongo won by just 5,594 votes which is 49.80 percent of the election, while his determined rival Jean Ping got 48.23 percent. No one can rely say if the election was manipulated but only the country constitution authority.  It has been a usual habit to most Africa leaders not to accept defect but former Nigeria president president Good Luck Jonathan break that york in Africa. Uzbekistan president Islam Karimov dies at 78 years .

       Longtime serving president of Uzbekistan president has died of stroke. His death was first announced by Turkish official in Ankara, the Turkish capital. He was the firstand only president of the country after independence. He was reported to have died of stroke . He died at the age of 78  and ruled the most populous Asia nation for 25 years.  He was accused by Human Right groups of crakdown of dissent. The head of Russian parliament's foreign affairs committee told Tass news agncy that Islam Karimov death may open for period of uncertainty in the country.  Russia president in a statement express condolences and stress that his death was a heavy loss for Uzbekistan. Georgian president also express his condolencesto the president family and Uzbekistan people in general. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Mass Arrests in Turkey after a failed coup .



     Turkish government had arrested about 2838 military officers after a failed attempted coup in the country. According to the country prime minister Binali Yildrim, the number of arrest is expected to increase. More than 2000 judges in the country have been sack as a result of the failed attempted coup on Friday night. Turkish President said those involve in the coup will pay a heavy price.
       Turkish President, in a televised speech blamed powerful opposition Islamic cleric who reside in the United State for the coup. He called on the U.S government to extradite Mr Gulden. It might recall that, a fraction of the army to removed the president in a failed military coup.

Attempted coup in Turkey failed as the nation President addressed jubilant crowds in Istanbul.


    Attempted military coup in Turkey failed as authority said they are now in control of the situation. Friday night, a fraction of the army announced on State TV that it has taken over the country and martial imposed across the country. The president spoke to CNN Turk via mobile phone, saying " we will overcome this".  Hours after, the country intelligence agency said, coup attempt in the country have been repelled. Later, President of Turkey Tayip Erdogan addressed jubillant croiwds in Instanbul, the country biggest city saying those responsible for the coup will pay a heavy price. Acting army chief said 104 coup plotter, 47 civilian have been killed in the clash. Media report says 754 members of the armed forces have been arrested .

Coup under way in Turkey as Army claims it has takeover the country.



    A fraction of the Turkish military has announced that it has takenover the country from the current government. According to the military, it took over the country in order to restate constitutional order, human rights and freedom. The state run television station has been seized by the army. Air force jets were spotted fly at Low attitude across Ankara, the Turkish capital.
    Meanwhile, Turkish prime minister said coup is under way in Turkey but security forces have been mobilise to put the situation under country. Later, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke to CNN Turk via mobile phone where he said they will overcome the situation. Turkish President is seen by many as a dictator and authoritarian. It is not clear who is in charge of the country right now.  Turkey President supported uprising in Syria against President Bashar Assad of Syria where the government in Turkey allows rebel fighting President Assad of Syria to transport their materials via Turkey to Syria.

35 killed, more than 150 feared buried as torrential rains hits Srilanka.



     At least 35 people have been confirmed dead and 150 missing after torrential rain hit Srilanka. More than 200,000 families was reported to have been affected by the flash flood and land slides caused by the terrestrial rains. Red Cross in the country said over 200 families were still missing on Wednesday. The incident occurred after a 3 days non stop rain that hit the South Asia country. Media report said, families are waiting anxiously for news of their missing love ones. About 300 soldiers were reported to have been deployed for search and rescue mission.

100 killed in India after massive fireworks blast in a Temple.


   At least 105 people have been killed after a deadly fireworks explosion in India temple. The blast occurred on Sunday at the Puttinga temple in Southern India. The deadly blast occurred after thousands of people gathered to celebrate a local new year festival. Television footage showed a huge clouds of white smoke billowing from the local temple. More than 200 people were reported injured in the blast. India prime minister was reported flew to Kollam with health officials to help treat the injured. The head of thge state Emergency operation Centre was quoted as saying 110 people lost there lives and 250 people injured.

Thousands of Islamic State secrect recruitment files leaked.


   An Islamic State defector has leaked a secret recruitment files of the Islamic State. The documents which was obtained exclusively by British broadcaster, Sky News revealed details of the group global recruitment program. The leaked files revealed the names and identity of fighters from over 48 countries. The document was reported to have revealed names, addresses and families contacts of 22,000 fighters. A Syrian pro - opposition news website Zuman Alwasl published most of the Islamic State application form. If this report is true, it may give edge to U.S and its allies who are trying to wipe out the group from the world map. It may recall that U.S and its allies have been bombing Islamic State targets for more than a year now in an effort to degrade and destroy the group but the group themselves have captured more territories compare to when they started in Iraqi second largest city of Mosul.

U.S Air force to deploy nuclear- capable B52 warplanes to bomb Islamic State targets.


    United States air force is ready to deploy one of its most powerful fighter jets, B52 warplanes to bomb Islamic state targets in Syria and Iraq. B52 warplanes are Stratofortress nuclear capable long range fighter bomber which is capable of carrying up to 70,000 pounds of payload. The warplane can fly at a maximum altitude of 50,000 feet and has a range of about 7,650 miles. B52 warplanes can simultaneously drop 32 tons of bombs. The warplane will start striking Islamic state targets in Syria and Iraq by April, 2016, according to U.S official. The decision was made after U.S pull out B-1 fighter bombers for upgraded.
     B-52 warplanes were used to struck targets during U.S invasion of Afghanistan. The warplane was recently flew across South Korea to demonstrate to North Korea America nuclear power. The warplane was also flew across disputed China Island.

Nearly 30 killed, dozens trapped after a powerful earthquake forced a High-Rise Building to collapse in Taiwan.



  •     At least 24 people lost their lives, dozens of people trapped after a powerful earthquake measuring 6.4, forced 17 storey building to collapsed. Rescuer immediately rushed to the site and searching for those trapped under the rubbles. Television footage showed relatives and families of those trapped waiting anxiously to see if their love ones will be found. Many blamed the contractor who constructed the building, saying why is it that the 17 storey building was the only building that collapsed in the area as a result of the quake. Some said the down stairs of the High-Rise building is used for commercial purposes prompting the building to weak. On Sunday, rescuers said they sense life in a particular area of the collapsed building, saying they cannot use heavy equipment in searching for the missing ones in order not to injure or mistakely kill those they are searching for.

Dozens killed after Book Haram raids a village in Borno.


     Nearly 40 people were believed to have lost their lives after suspected Boko Haram fighters attacked a village of Dolori, five kilometres from Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
       The militants came to the village with motor cycles and pick up vans. The fighters were reported to have burnt down the entire village. The operation lasted for more than three hours, according to eyes witness who spoke anonymously. Bodies of those killed were reported to have been deposited at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. The militants were said to have burnt children and the elderly to death as people were heard screaming.

  •       This is not the first time suspected Book Haram fighters attack a village in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe state. Nigeria President Muhammed Buhari promised to eliminate Boko  Haram by the end of December, 2015 but what happened on Saturday night in Dalori villager shows that defeating Boko Haram is far from achieving. More than 200 school girls were forcefully taken by Boko Haram in 2014 after suspected Boko Haram fighters attacked a school in the town of Chibok, a town in northern Nigeria.

At least 60 killed after a truck loaded with explosive struck near Police Academy in Libya.


  •    A power bomb explosion near Police Academy in Libya  western city of Zliten have left 60 policemen dead and more the 200 wounded. The deadly incident occurred when a truck loaded with powerful bomb crashed into the entrance gate of Police Academy in the town. The compound is used to train new police recruits in Libya.      Zliten is a western Libya city, 100 miles from Tripoli, the Libya capital. No group immediately claim responsibility for the attack. Many believe Islamic State affiliate militant group operating in the area might be responsible. Libya is divided since the death of Libya ditatoria leader. UN had played a vital role in an attempt to unified different faction government in the country.

Saudi Arabia executes senior Shia cleric, Sheikh Nimr al-Nimir.


  •    A top shia cleric Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr have been executed along with 46 others in Saudi Arabia for different offences. His executions sparked wide spread condermination by Shia power house, Iran and other shia stronghold. Saudi Arabia officials said, Nimr al-Nimr was properly tried and was found guilty of the offence he committed. Iran supreme leader Ali Khamenei said the blood of the late shia cleric will hurt those who killed him. One  Iranian lawmakers said Saudi Arabia will pay high price for the execution of the shia cleric. His death sparked protest in Iran and other shia stronghold. Protesters in Iran stormed Saudi Arabia embassy and set fire on the embassy. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia foreign minister on Sunday told reporters that it country has decided to cut diplomatic ties with shia Iran and ordered the Iran's Ambassador in Saudi Arabia to leave the country within 48 hours. Relation between sunni Saudi Arabia and Shia Iran has not be cordial for long time as both countries are seen by many as rivals. Iran have condernmed Saudi Arabia for the air strikes Saudi coalition is currently carrying out in Yemen. Iran is seen by many sunni countries as trying to dominant the entire middle east as Iran tried to influence in Yemen, Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon and Gaza in Palestine.

At least 100 killed in a deadly gas explosion in south eastern Nigeria state of Anambra.

   An industrial Gas plant explosion in Nnewi, Anambra state have left 100 people dead. The explosion occurred when a truck was discharging its contents which was believed to be cooking gas. Most of those who lost their lives in the deadly blaze were burned beyond recognition. The ugly incident occurred just twenty four to the most celebrated Christian festival (Christmas). Nigeria President Muhammad Buhari in a statement expressed sincere sympathy to the family who lost their love ones. The injured were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

Deadly fire in Saudi Arabia left 25 people killed.

  At least 25 people have lost their lives after a deadly fire broke out in a hospital in the Gulf kingdom of Saudi Arabia. About 107 people were also injured in the deadly blaze which started at around 2.30 am Saudi time. Most of the injured were reported to be patients who are taking treatment at the hospital. The fire occurred at the general hospital in Kazan, thge capital of Kazan region. Report said the huge fire started in the intensive care and maternity department in the general hospital. According to a witness, the fire may likely caused by an electrical fault. It may recall that hundreds of people lost their lives in a stamped while attending a Haji in Saudi Arabia.

Israeli airstrikes near Damascus kills Top Hezbollah commander.


    Israeli airstrikes near Syria capital, Damascus left Senior Lebanese militia commander killed . Samir Quntar was killed when Israeli missiles struck a home where he was staying near Damascus. Kuntar spent years in Israeli prison and was set free by Israel after Hezbollah and the Jewish State reached prisoner swap deal in 2008. Israel has not deny the claim or comfirm it was responsible. Israel is known for not commenting in cases like that. Hezbollah Secretary general has yet to respond to the claim but it is usual that he will comment either through a live broadcast or press released.
