Boko Haram denies Sambisa forest defeat in a new video.

    A man purported to be Boko Haram leader, Abubakah Shekau, has denied Nigeria Army claimed that it had captured the millitant headquarters in Sambisa forest few days ago. In a video released on Thursday, Boko Haram leader said its fighters has not been pushed out of its stronghold, Sambisa forest. He said that its fighters are safe and far away from any location where the Nigeria military can capture its members or defeat it. The video is about 25 minutes and Boko Haram claimed it was shot on Christmas day. In an exclusive report from Aljazeera on Wednesday, 28th December, 2016, parts of Sambisa forest was showed when the army claimed it had successfully destroyed the group. The report could not actually show the military based captured from the extremist group, saying it was too dangerous. 

92 Killed after Russian military plane crashed into Black Sea.


   A military plane belonging to Russia Armed Forces which was heading to Syria where Russian is currently helping President Assad to fight armed opposition had crashed into the Black Sea. The plane was carrying 92 military personnel including Russian army choir who were heading to Russia airbase in Syria to cheer up Russian Airforce on their recent victory in defeating Syria opposition armed forces in Aleppo who have been fighting the government of president Assad for more  than three years now. The plane was reported to have crashed shortly after taking off from the southern Russian city of Adler on Sunday morning. The caused of the crashed is not known at the moment but authority said terrorism may not be the cause of the crash. Crews from Channel One Russia, NTV, and the official News outlet of Russia Defense Military, each with  up to three members, were on board the aircraft. A prominent Humanitarian activist, Elizaveta Glinka was also on board the aircraft. All passengers on board the aircraft was believed to died.
