Dozens killed after Book Haram raids a village in Borno.

Nearly 40 people were believed to have lost their lives after suspected Boko Haram fighters attacked a village of Dolori, five kilometres from Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
The militants came to the village with motor cycles and pick up vans. The fighters were reported to have burnt down the entire village. The operation lasted for more than three hours, according to eyes witness who spoke anonymously. Bodies of those killed were reported to have been deposited at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. The militants were said to have burnt children and the elderly to death as people were heard screaming.

  •       This is not the first time suspected Book Haram fighters attack a village in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe state. Nigeria President Muhammed Buhari promised to eliminate Boko  Haram by the end of December, 2015 but what happened on Saturday night in Dalori villager shows that defeating Boko Haram is far from achieving. More than 200 school girls were forcefully taken by Boko Haram in 2014 after suspected Boko Haram fighters attacked a school in the town of Chibok, a town in northern Nigeria.
