Nearly 730 killed, 900 injured in Saudi Arabia Hajj stampede near Mecca.


     At least 717 muslim faithful has lost their lives and 863 others injured in stampede that occured in Saudi Arabia. The stampede happened in the city of Mina, few kilometers from east of Mecca. The stamede occured when muslim pilgrims were performing their religion obligation "stoning the devil". Report from news media said people were climbing over one another in struggling to get fresh breathe. Television fotage showed pilgrims bodies dress with white lying everywhere on the street. About 100 Iranians were among the casualties which prompted Iranian supreme leader to openly critisized Saudi Arabia. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused Saudi Arabia of mismanagement and incompetency. He called for three day of national mourning to mourn those lost their lives. Saudi Arabia king said he will review the Hajj operation in order to prevent the urgly incident from happening again in the future. Many world leaders including Pope Francis sent their condolence messages.
