At least 304 people have lost their lives after a massive earthquake measuring 7.5 struck Afghanistan and Pakistan on Monday. About 229 people were killed in Pakistan alone. The tremor of the huge earthquake was felt in Pakistan, India and Tajistan. An estimated of 4000 houses were either damaged or destroted in Afghanistan, according to country State Minister for disaster Management. About 74 people were killed in Afghanistan and 206 people injured. Many Pakistani vacated their homes after they felt the massive tremors. They were afraid that similar earthquake that left 100,000 people dead in 2005 might occured.
