Russia says its airstrikes hits 60 Islamic State targets in Syria, kills 300 fighters.

    Russia war planes struck 60 Islamic State targets in Syria in the past 24 hours, killing 300 jihadist fighters, Defense ministry said. In a media briefing in Moscow, the Russia capital, the deputy chief of staff said different targets were hit which include fuel stores, terrorist training bases and jihadist command posts, State-run Russia Today reported. Russia has been bombing fighters who are fighting President Assad. Western countries and America said Russia is targeting Syria moderate opposition rebels not  Islamic State. On Friday, Iran said a senior member of its Revolutionary  Guard Corp who was deploy to Syria to advice Syria government troops was killed by Islamic State in Aleppo. Russia, Lebanese shai Hizbollah militia and Iran has deploys troops to Damascus to help its ally president Assad defeat Jihadist and rebels who are fighting the government. Russia claims of killing 300 fighters cannot be proven as there is no video evidence to show the 300 fighters killed.
