Nearly 80 killed, Hundreds missing after a landslide hits Guatemala.


    At least 73 lost their lives and hundreds missing after a massive landslide struck Guatamala. The incident occured after a rain-soaked side of a hill collapsed to low land resulting to people and homes buried alive. About 125 homes was believed to had buried by the landslide. Resue workers were deployed to the area to help search and dig out victims who were buried by the landslide. A spokesperson from the Volunteer fire brigade Julio Sanchez told Agency France Presse that 69 people were believed to have died and 300 people were missing. Television footage showed rescue workers searching under the mud and debris in an attempt to rescue those buried under the mud.
