Prison fire kills 17 and injure at least 11 in Venezuela.

      A huge fire in Venezuela Central prison have left 17 people killed and injured at least 11 other. According to Globovision television channel, the fire was caused by electrical short-circuit. According to Reuters news Agency, the blaze killed eight women and nine men and injured 11 others. The blaze happened at the Tocuyita prison facility in Carabobo state. The injured were treated at a hospital in Valencia, the capital of Carabobo state. Venezuela jail is one of the deadiest in latin America.

56 people killed after Boko Haram militant group attack a village in Borno.

   Suspected Boko Haram militants have attack a village in north-eastern Nigeria state of Borno, killing 56 people, Borno state governor Kashim Shettima said. The militants storm the village of Badu in Nganizai after they were initially repelled by the military when trying to attack a neighbouring village of Gudumbali. The attack forcef residents to fled for their lives. The corpses of those killed were reported to have littered the streets as nobody was present to bury them but Borno state governor Kashim Shettima said, he have set up a committee to go to the area to investigate the incident and bury the death. The attack came after Nigeria president Buhari gave three months deadline to his country's military to wipe out the militant group.

Nigeria Airforce fighter plane crashes in Kaduna, killing seven people.


    A fighter jet belonging to Nigeria Airforce crashed Saturday at old Nigeria Defence Academy in Kaduna. The plane was reported to have took off from Airfield in Kaduna and was heading to Abuja on a routine training the crash occured, local media reported. The bodies of the victims have been recovered and they include, the captain, co-pilot, crew technician and four passengers. Chief of the Air staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar was reported to have set up a panel to look at the remote and immediate caused of the clashed. Military plane crash is not common in the Nigeria military. The clash came after Nigerian president Buhari ordered the Army to wipe out Boko Haram militant group within three months.

Tens of Thousands of protesters gather in Kuala Lumpur against Malaysian prime minister.

   A huge protest have rocked Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysia capital demanding the resignation of prime minister Najib Razak. Qatar based news network, Aljazeera reported that the protesters about 30,000 in number. The protesters are calling Mr Razak to step down as prime minister over alledge transfer of state funds to his personal bank account. No tangible proof have been presented so far to nailed down the prime minister but one the ministers in Mr Najib Razak's cabinet have confirmed that he actually got nearly 700 million U.S dollars mysteriously deposited into their bank account. Malaysia security forces are expected to crackdown on the protesters, as the government placed banned on the two-day rally. The alledged multi-million dollars was first reported by foreign media which prompted awareness by opposition in the country.

Powerful storm kills at least 20 in Dominican Republic.


  At least 20 people have lost their lives after a tropical storm Erika struck Dominican republic. The government evacuated people to a safe place as the storm lashed the country causing floods and mudslides. Dominican Republic prime minister Roosevelt Skertit said in a tweet ealier " I can confirm 12 but the number may be higher". In a television address to the country late Friday, Mr Roosevert Skerrit said "The extent of the devastation is monumental. It is far worse than expected". Report from local media said roads, bridges and hundreds of houses were destroyed. The storm is expected to hit the state of Florida in United State and authorities had declared a state of emergency.

Austrian police found about 50 dead bodies of migrants in an abandon truck.


    About 50 people suspected to be migrants were found 'suffocated' in the back of a freezen truck used to pack frozen fish and chicken in Austria. The truck was found abandon at the side of a busy high way, according to local media. Police discovered the lorry abandon and decided to open the truck and found the bodies which are in the state of decomposing. According to report, the truck may belong to Slovakian poultry company. Thousands of migrants are running away from war in countries such as Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan trying to find a new life in Europe. Thousands of migrants are crossing everyday from Syria to Turkey and pass through Greece to Marcedonia. They pass from Marcedonia to Serbia and pass to Hungaria and finally enter Eastern Europe. The UN said about 3000 migrants are likely to cross to Europe everyday in months to come.

At least 50 dead bodies discovered in migrant boat off Libyan coast.

 An estimated of 50 dead bodies were found in a migrant ship during rescue operation in an overcrowed boat heading from Libya to Europe on Wednesday, Italian Coastguard said. The death were presumed to have caused by asphyxiation, according to the BBC citing Italian media. The bodies were discvered in the hold of a wooden boat. A Swedish ship taking part in the European Union rescue operation to save lives of migrants crossing from North Africa to Europe rescued about 439 people from the ship. Thousands of mostly African migrants are desperately crossing through North African nation of Libya to Europe in search of greener pasture. Many had lost their lives in the process of trying to cross to Italy or Malta. The death are mostly caused by over crowed boats which cannot stand the heavy ocean wave.

Large explosions rocks U.S military base in Sagamihara, Japan.

     A huge blast has struck a U.S military base in Sagamihara, 40 kilometers from Tokyo, the Japan's capital city. The explosion was reported to have hit a warehouseon the base which was believe to be housing petroleum products and ammunitions, according to International Business Times, citing U.S based Fox News. According to the Voice of America, there were no report of casualties or injuries in the huge blast which resident said they thought it was a "thurder". Fire fighters rushed to the scene of the blast to put out the blaze. A U.S army Lietenant Colonel Kevin Toner told Reuters news agency via e-mail that there were no ammunitions or radiological materials in the warehouse. Some media report said families of serving U.S personnels are living in the building but the Colonel who spoke to Reuters deny such claim.

North Korea leader Kim Jong-un orders military to Be 'Ready for war' with South Korea.

     North Korea supreme leader Kim Jong-un has told its country's armed forces to be ready to launched a surprise attack against its rival neighour South Korea. North Korea official news agency reported that the country's supreme leader has ordered its army to enter a war time state to be fully battle ready to launch surprise operations against the South Korea within the next 24 hours. South Korea joint Chief of staff said its country's armed forces will respond aggressively if the North provoke South Korea further. Tension came after South Korea accussed North Korea of planting Landmines on South Korea side of the border that serously wounded two of its soldiers. South Korea decided to resumed anti - North propaganda loud speaker broadcast in South Korea border with North Korea. The anti-North propaganda broadcast anger North Korea and threaten to shot down the speakers. North Korea was accused to have fired artillery into South Korea in an attempt to shot down the speaker. South Korea retaliated with series of artillery shell into North Korea territory. The move prompted North Korea supreme leader to call an emergency meeting to discussed the escalation. North Korea is good in making empty threat, the country has threaten to launched nucear missile attack against the United State on several occassions. It may not be a surprise, if this threat is another war propaganda tatics by North Korea.

At least 27 killed, more than 80 injured after a huge blast hits Bangkoko.



     A powerful explosion has struck central Bangkok, the Thailand capital and left 27 people dead and at least 80 injured. The deadly blast occured in Rachaprasong and no group has claim respobsibility for the deadly blast yet. The Straits Times, citing local media said 27 people were killed in the blast. Thailand Defense Minister said the aim of the attacker was to destroyed the economy and tourism of the country. The bomb was aimed to target tourist visiting the Erawan Shrine. Pieces of flesh was reported to have on the street where the blast occured. Terrorist activities is not common in Thailand as analyst  suspected muslim seperatist  the country may behind the  deadly blast.

At least 110 killed, more than 300 wounded when Syrian regime warplane bombs a busy market in Douma.


    Syrian government fighter jet has struck a busy market in rebel held town of Douma, 15 to 10 kilometers from the capital Damascus. The air assault left about 110 people dead and more than 300 wounded. The warplane was reported to have fired the first missile at the busy market, as people gather to help the victims of the attack, the warplane fire severe missiles again which resulted to high casualties, UK based Syria Observatory For Human Rights said. Syrian government military source confirmed that its warplane targeted rebel headquarters in Douma. Syria regime constantly attack rebel held Douma because of the proximity of the city to the regime capital city of Damascus. Syria government hold Damascus very tight and he is ready to defend the capital city at all cost. More than 55% of Syrian territory is under the control of different rebel groups.

BREAKING NEWS: An Indonesia plane with 54 people on board disappeares over Papua region.

   A plane belonging to Trigana Air Service in Indonesia has gone missing after taken of from Sentani en route to Oksibili, the provincial capital of Pupua, National Search and Rescue Agency said on its Twitter account. The journey was supposed to take about 45 minutes. The plane was carrying 54 people which includes 44 Adult passengers, 5 crew members and 4 children and Infants. "We are not sure what happened to the plane yet and we are coordinating with local authorities", Transport ministry said. Many suspecting the plane might have crashed because the area is a remote forest region.

Islamic State "beheads" 12 people and hang them on crosses in Sirte.

     Islamic State fighters operating in Sirte, Libya have reported to had beheaded 12 people and hung them on crosses during a dangerous fighting to retake the city of Sirte from locals. Libya national news agency LANA reported. The battle began when a group of locals took up arms and surrounded Islamic State fighters in an attempted to fight and dislodge for killing a local cleric. The Islamic State fighters overpowered them and recaimed all lost territory taken away from them. In retaliation, the group reported to have carried massacre for those they believed were parts of the rebellion. Report said that Libya governent has called on Arab League to launch airstrikes to dslodge the militants. IsLlamic State operating in Libya had murdered Egyptian Coptic and Ethopia christians in Libya in recent months.

Japan Marks 70th Anniversary of World War II surrender.

    Japan has marks the 70th anniversary of its surrender in World War II that claimed the lives of millions of people both combat forces and innocent civilian. The ceremony was attended by 81 years Emperor Akihito, Japan prime minister Shinzo Abe and others. Prime minister Abe said that Japan did "immeasurable damage and suffering" on innocent civilians during the World war II but he did not apologise for Japan role in the war, saying  future generation cannot continue to apologise for what happened in the past. In a speech to mark the 70th anniversary of the war, 81 years Emperor Akihito said his thoughts are with the people who lost their lives in the war and their bereaved families, according to Japan Times. Estimated of 60 million people lost their lives in the deady World War II. United States dropped atomic bomb at Japan Hiroshima and Nagasaki which prompted Japan to announced its surrender.

China's warehouse explosion dead toll rises to 112



       A powerful blast struck the China's city of Tianjin and left at least 112 killed and  more than 700 injured. The blast was reported to have occured at a warehouse where chemical materials were stored. At least 50 peope lost their lives including 12 firefighters when the deadly blast first occured. The explosions were reported to have carried the force of small earthquake, according to China's Earthquake Network Centre. Resident who lives few kilometers away said, they were sleeping when they heard explosions outside. They said, they thought it was an earthquake. More than 200 soldiers who are trained on nuclear combact were deployed to the scene of the deadly blast. The causes of the blast have not be known yet. Media report on Saturday said resident living in the area were advice to live but authorities later came up to say the report was not true.

BREAKING NEWS: At least 54 killed, 200 wounded after truck packed with bombs exploded in Baghdad.

    Nearly 60 people have been killed and 200 others injured when a truck packed with bombs exploded in a busy market in Sadr, north-east of Baghdad, Reuters news agency reported. Different news agencies are reported different casualties figure. Associated Press said at least 54 people lost their lives and 86 others wounded in the powerful blast. No group has claim responsibility for the blast yet but many Iraqi believe Islamic State may behind the deadly blast which struck on Thursday morning. The blast target area dominated by Shiite muslims as Islamic State has on several occasion refers to Shiite muslim as "rejectionist". Islamic State controls large territories in Iraq and Syria.

At least 3 killed, 3 injured after a helicopter crashes into Lagoon in Nigeria city of Lagos.

    A helicopter with 12 people aboard has crshed into Lagoon in Nigeria commercial city of Lagos. According to CORE TV correspondent who was speaking to  through telephone to the news channel said, 12 people were aboard the helicopter. He said 4 bodies were found at the scene of the accident. An eyewitnesses said the helicopter made a loud noise before its finally crashed into the lagoon. Reuters news agency citing National Emergency Management spokesman, Ibrahim Farinloye as saying 3 people lost their lives and 3 others were injured.

Nearly 40 people missing after landslide struck in Shaansi, China.


     A landslide in nortwest China on Wednesday has left 40 missing. The landslide buried five dormitories and three houses, Chinese news agency Xinhua reported. The land slide was reported to had occured in the Wuzhou mining company. Resue workers dug out some people from the mound and the iniured were rushed to the hospital for medical attention. Heavy rain prevent Resue workers from carrying out their operations. The Times of India said 931 people lost their lives in Chinese local mining accident in 2014.

At least 50 killed, 52 injured after a bomb blast hits a market in Borno.

      A huge blast has rock a market in Nigeria State of  Borno, killing at least 50 people and injured 52 others, local media reported. The attack was reported to have occured in the town of Sabon Gari in the State. The attack was reported to have carried out by a female suicide bomber. No group has claim respinsibility for the blast. Many Nigerians and analyst believe Islamist Boko Haram militant group might behind the deadly blast. Boko Haram has claimed responsibility of similar  attack in the past. Thousands of people had lost their lives in Boko Haram attack. The Nigerian armed forces claimed they are making gains in the fight against Boko Haram. The military said, it has recaptured territory control by the militant group. It is very hard to verify what is happening on ground because media are not allow in the front line where the army is battling the group. Nigerian president has allied with neighbouring countries to fight the group which had prompted the group to carried out cross-boder attacks in Cameroon, Chad and Niger on several occasions. The Nigeria president's spokesman said recently that government is ready to negotiate with the militants if the true identity of there leaders are known. He stressed that, government cannot negotiate with an invisible person who is using mask to cover its identity. It might recalled that imediate past president of Nigeria, GoodLuck Jonathan negotiated with the so called representative of the group, which was later found out to be wrong representation. Boko Haram then leader said, he never sent any body to represent the group in negotiation with Nigeria government.

At least 5 killed, 15 wounded after huge blast rocks Kabul International Airport.


     A suicide bomber has detonated his explosive at the entrance gate of Kabul International Airport in Afghanistan. The attack left 5 people killed and at least 15 other wounded. The suicide bomber was reported to have targeted a convoy of vehicles carrying foreigners, Tolo news reported citing eyes witnesses. Afghanistan security personnels and emergency officers were immediately dispersed to the scene to help the wounded. In a reaction, Afghanistan president Ashrat Ghani accused Pakistani government of not doing enough to stop Taliban militants from carrying out cross-border attack. He said he wound send a delegation to Pakistan to register Aghanistan displeasure on Pakistan way of handling the Taliban militant. No group was immediately claim responsibilty for the deadly attack. But many Afghans believed Taliban militants are behind the deadly explosion. Last week, 15 people were killed when a Truck loaded with dangerous explosive rock Afghanistan capital Kabul. The same week, a suicide bomber struck the entrance gate of Afghanistan Police Academy, killing many security personnels. The Taliban claimed responsibility of the deadly attack. Thousands of Afghans have lost their lives in Taliban attacks since U.S led coalition invaded Afghanistan after the 9/11 attack.

Israeli Security arrested Hizbollah Spy agent at Ben Gurious International Aiport.


    Israeli Security forces has arrested a man recruited by Lebanes-militia, Hezbollah to Spy on the Jewish State. The suspect, a Swedish -Lebanese man was arrested at Ben Gurious International airport in Israel on July 21. He was accused to have landed in Israel with the aim of collecting information on Israel military bases, tanks and weapons for his recruiter-Hezbollah militia in Lebanon, The Jerusalem Post reported citing Shin Bet Intelligent Agency. The 55-year-old Hassan Khalil Hizran was alledged to have been recruited in 2009 by Hizbollah while on a trip to visit his family members. He was alledged to had received some amount of money from Hizbollah in 2009 and 2011 for the job. According to Times of Israel, his task was to recruit Israelis of Jewish origin in an attempt to get access to Israel Army personnel, defense establishement or government officials. Hizbollah is a militia based in Lebanon. The objective of the armed movement is to destroyed Israel which the militia accused of occupying Palestinian land. The group is being funded by Syria government and Iranian government. Hizbollah leader has publicly admitted on several occasion in his speech broadcast live on the group Television and Iran-run Press TV that President Bashar Assad of Syria has help the armed movement with heavy weapons. The Iranian government has publicly admitted on several occassion that its supports Hizbollah and Hamas with weapons to fight against the Jewish State. Iranian Supreme leader on numerious occassion vowed to destroy Israel and his audience usually cherred him by saying "Death to Israel", "Death to America".

35 killed, hundreds wounded after suicide blast hit Afghanistan.

   Two powerful suicide attacks in Afghanistan killed 35 people and wounded hundreds of people. The first attack occured in Kabul, the Afghanistan capital when a truck bomb hit the city, killing 15 people and wounded 240 others. The second attack happened when a suicide bomber struck in the entrance gate of Afghanistan police Academy in Kabul, killing 20 people. According to Washington Post, Taliban spokesman claimed responsibility for the attack that hit police Academy but the Taliban did not claimed responsibility for the truck bomb that hit Kabul which left 15 dead. This is the first major attack since Taliban confirmed the dead of its leader Mullah Omar. Hundred of Thousands of people have lost their lives in Afghanistan since the country civil war that led to the Taliban raised to power in the country. The Taliban governnent was toppled when U.S led coalition invade the country after the attack of 9/11 in World Trade Centre. U.S ordered the Taliban government then to handed in Osama Bin Laden to America and closed all terrorist trainning Camps, a request which the Taliban refused. The refusal prompted the then president George Bush to order US military attacks against Taliban military installations which eventually toppled the Taliban.

Islamic State Abducts Dozens of Christians in central Syria town of Qaryatain.

    Islamic State fighters has kidnapped about 230 people including christians who were attending church service in Qaryatan in Syria, Syria Observatory For Human Rights said. Islamic State fighters attacked the town with heavy fire power which prompted Syrian government troops to withdrew from the town and reposition thenself to avoid losses. When Islamic State fighters get hold of the town after the government soldiers fled, the fighters moved in and kidnapped at least 230 people which they believe "collaborating with syria regime". Those abducted were 45 women, 19 children and 11 families, according to UK based Syria Observatory For Human Rights. Islamic State fightera controls large territory in Iraq and Syria. Syrian regime backed by Iran Revolutionary  Guards and Lebanese militias Hizbollah have been battling to over power Islamic State in Syria but their effort have so far prove abortive an ISIS and other radical extremist are growing stronger than the government soldiers in Syria. President Bashar Assad has admitted in July in a speech aired live on State media that "His army are tied of fighting" which sometimes prompted them to withdrew from some territories in order to get hold to most important once.

Hundreds feared dead after a boat carrying about 700 migrants capsizes in Mediterranean.

    An overcrowed boat carrying estimated of 700 migrants believed to carrying African migrants capsized in the Mediterranean. According to the International Organisation For Migration (IOM), the boat is reported to have carried 700 migrants trying to cross to Europe from Libyan coast. Irish and Italian navy ships have been deployed to the scene for major search and rescue operation. The Independent reported citing Associated Press. At least 250 passengers were reported to have been rescued so far. Thousands of migrants mostly African had lost their lives in Mediterranean Sea while tried to crossed to Europe searching for greener pasture.

Severe flood in Myanmar kills 69 and 250,000 affected.



   Sixty-nine people have lost their lives after a deadly flood hits the Asia nation of Myanmar with 250,000 people affected by the deadly flood. The flood was caused by heavy monson season which normally affects Asia countres such as Myanmar, India, China, Pakistan, India etc. According to Xinhua news agency, four states and regions which severely affected by the flood such as Rakhine, Chin, Sagaring and Magway has been decleared "natural disaster affected area". The government of Myanmar call for the International communities to come to the aid of Myanmar.

At least 24 killed after two passenger train derail in India.



   At least 24 people have lost their lives after two passenger trains derailed in India. The incident occured when a trail en route from financial city of Mumbai to Varanasi, the second train was moving opposite direction and the two trail derail seperately, Skynews reported. Resue workers arrived at the scene to begun search operation so as to save lives. According to local media, the death toll has reached 27 and dozens of people injured. The death include 11 women, 11 men and 5 children. Many believed the derail was caused by manson rains that have hit large area of the country which has left about 180 people dead.

Yemen's president Hadi loyalist fighters recapture largest airbase from Houthi rebels.

     Yemeni exiled president Abed Mansour Hadi loyalist fighter has capturd the country's larget airbase from Iran-back Houthi rebels. Hadi loyalist fighters backed by Saudi-led coalition air cover launched the offensive from a mountainous region of the airbase, local media reported. According to Hadi loyalist military commander, dozens of Houthi rebels were killed or captured. The recapture of the airbase mark another major victory to the Hadi loyalist after they defeated Houthi rebels from the port city of Aden. It may recall that Houthi rebels seized Sanai, the Yemen's capital in 2014 without any resistance from the national army. The rebels then placed the legitimate president Hadi under House arrest and forced him to resigned. Later, the president escaped from house arrest and fled to Aden and announced he is still the legitimate president of Yemen. He opened a presidential palace in Aden, southern part of Yemen where he was running the country. Houthi rebels advanced to Aden in an attempt to capture the president but the President fled to Saudi Arabia for safety. Saudi Arabia formed Arab coalition in an attempt to dislodge and degrade the Houthi rebels. Since then, the coalition has carried out intensive air assault to weaken the rebels military capability.

At least 50 killed after Syrian warplane crashes In a busy market.



     Syrian fighter plane crashed into a basy market in opposition control town of Arisha and left at least 50 innocent civilian dead, UK based Syrian Observatory For Human Right which has network of activists inside Syria reported. " It was flying at a low altitude when it had a mechanical failure", the Observatory said. The warplane was reported to have dropped bombs in civilian areas and in the process the developed mecanical failure and crashed. The market and surounding buidings were competely razed to the ground. Syria oppsition rebels posted a statement claiming they shot down the fighter plane. President Assad has been using air power to weaken rebels position but despite all that, more than half of the country territory is in hands of jihadist and the so called moderate rebels.  President Assad government backed by Lebanese Islamist militia (Hizbollah) and Iranian revolutionary Guards have been trying to wipe out rebes and extremist Jihadist away from Syria but it seems their efforts have not actually successful.

At least 100 killed after heavy floods and landslide hit India.


   Floods and landslide caused by heavy rains in several states in India has left over 100 people dead, according to the India Home ministry. The flood affected mostly Manipur, West Bengal, Odisha. Over 200,000 people were moved to a safe zone (relief centre). At least 200 medical official using 120 boats were dispersed to the area to help treat the affected people, India today reported. India and neighbouring countries usually experience flooding this season, as over 8 million people were reported to have affected by the deadly flood. Many of the casualties were as a result of drowing as well as collapsed masonry and electrocution.

Egyptian army kills 88 militants in Northern Sinai.

     Egypt's military spokesman said in a statement that its armed forces has killed 88 militants operating in Sinai peninsula in the last 12 days. Brigadier General Mohamed Samir said that the army had arrested 58 suspected milutants during the same period. According to a statement posted on facebook, he stated that army were able to dismantle 47 bombs and destroyed two militants storage units as well as nine terrorist headquarters, ahramonline reported. Egypt has been battling with rising militant attacks since the overthrew of first democratically elected Islamist president Mohamed Moursi. The militants operating in Sinai peninsula had announced months back that it had affiliated the group to Islamic .State.

A pilot killed after Russian military helicopter crashes during airshow.

      A pilot lost his life after a Russian made Mi-28 military helicopter crashed in Ryazan region during air fight, Russian Defense military said. "The helicopter went into flat-attitude spin and crash-landed", Defense military said. The airshow was reported to had began on Saturday between Russia and other countries. According to Russian Sputnik News, the country's commander-in-chief of the AirForce has order all Mi-28 flights be suspended. The crashed helicopter Mi-28 were designed to replaced old Soviet Union built helicopter gunship.
