At least 110 killed, more than 300 wounded when Syrian regime warplane bombs a busy market in Douma.


    Syrian government fighter jet has struck a busy market in rebel held town of Douma, 15 to 10 kilometers from the capital Damascus. The air assault left about 110 people dead and more than 300 wounded. The warplane was reported to have fired the first missile at the busy market, as people gather to help the victims of the attack, the warplane fire severe missiles again which resulted to high casualties, UK based Syria Observatory For Human Rights said. Syrian government military source confirmed that its warplane targeted rebel headquarters in Douma. Syria regime constantly attack rebel held Douma because of the proximity of the city to the regime capital city of Damascus. Syria government hold Damascus very tight and he is ready to defend the capital city at all cost. More than 55% of Syrian territory is under the control of different rebel groups.
