The leader of Haqqani militant group has died.

     The leader of Haqqani militant group has been reported dead, according Afghanistan Taliban sources. He was reported to have died a year ago. Jalaluddi Haqqani, was the spiritual leader and founder of Haqqani network, the group that is regarded as a notorious terrorist group which has carried out several suicide bombing targeting U.S coalition forces in Afghanistan as well as civilians. He once served in the Taliban regime after the group took power in 1996 in Afghanistan. The news of his death was reported to have confirmed by Taliban sources, according to daily Pakistan citing Geo TV. The news of his death come few days after Taliban officially confirmed the death of its leader Mullah Omar. Meanwhile, Haqqani network and family of the Jalaluddi Haqqani deny the claim, saying he is alive and healthy in respective of his age.
