Ashraf Ghani has been sworn in as Afghanistan new President. He succeed president Hamid Karzai after a three- month standoff over disputed election results. The ceremony mark the country's first democratic transfer of power. Both Ghani and his poll rival Abdullah claimed to have won the June 14 election.
