U.S airstrikes hit ISILS targets inside Syria for the first time.

 United States fighter jets began bombing ISIS targets in Syria early Tuesday, raising U.S involvement in the war-torn country and sending a forceful message to the terror group. The airstrikes focused on the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa, a US official said, though other location were hits as well. Pentagon spokesper in a statement said several Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Jordan and Qatar were also involved.
