Heavy clashes Beteeen Nigeria soldiers and Militants reported in Bama

 Fierce fighting is reported  in the north eastern Nigeria city of Bama, with soldiers trying to repel an attack by Islamist militants group Boko Haram. Witness say hundreds of militants, advances toward the city early Monday, but were repel by Nigeria soldiers from a local barracks. It was not clear by mid- day whether Boko Haram had seized control of the city.
