7,300 Nigerian fled to Chad for fear of been killed by Boko Haram___UN

        United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHRC), said in Geneva that 7,300 Nigerian had fled to neighbouring Chad for fear of been slaughter by Boko Haram terrorist group. "In western Chad, some 7,300 Nigerian refugees have arrived in the past 10 days, fleeing attacks by insurgents on Baga town and surrounding villages", Adrian Edwards tod reporters in Geneva. " with the recent influxes, chad is now hosting over 10,000 refugees", Edwards said. Boko Haram captured the town of Baga in Borno state. Baga lies close to Lake Chad, where the borders of Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Cameroon converge.
