A car bomb at Yemen police academy kills 37 people.

A deadly car bomb at Yemen police academy killed 37 people and another 66 people wounded in the "terrorist bombing" targeting police recruits, Saba news agency reported. The victim were reportedly soldiers of the interior ministry who seek to join the police academy to get a promotion. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the deadly attack. A security official told Associated France Press the bomb was in a minibus, of which only scraps of metal remained. Rescue workers were seen loaded bodies into ambulances, as the health ministry urged people to "denate blood at government hospitals to help the wounded". A member of the unofficial Huthi rebels blamed" radicals belonging to Al-Qaeda" for the attack.
