Boko Haram Islamist group have reported to have captured a town and a military base used by Nigerian armed forces. The Senator who represent Borno North said troops abandoned the base in the town of Baga after it was attacked on Saturday, BBC reported. Residents of Baga, where reported to have fled the town to neighbouring Chad. Those who ran for their lives said many people had been killed and the town set abaze.
