Sri Lanka's president loses re-election after decade in power.

         Sri Lankan president Mahinda Rajapaksa has accepted defeat after decade as president of Sri Lankan. He ended a decade in power on Friday, after accepting defeat in a midterm election. There were 19 candidates who contested the election but the main fight was between two-term incubent president Rajapaksa and Sirisena. Report from Sri Lanka said president accepted defeat to his opposition challenger on Friday after a presidential election. People were celebrating as sound of firecrackers heard exploding in Colombo, Sri Lanka capital city. Sirisena, a formal government minister who left the Rajapaksa and became the opposition's cabdidate and had vowed to takcle corruption in the country.
