'Dozens arrested and weapons cache found' after attempted coup in Gambia.

           Gunfire erupted overnight in Banjul, the capital of Gambia when gunmen which the Gambia president described as terrorist were attempted to seize power from the incubent president Jammeh who had rule Gambia for 20 years. The government denied reports of an attempted coup, said it was a terrorist attack supported by some foreign power. Security forces loyal to President Jammeh killed three of the attackers including the alleged ringleader, Associated France Press reported. President Jammeh was on a private visit to Dubai but the state-run media reported the he had left for France. A French foriegn military spokesman said Jammeh was not on an official trip to France.
