AirAsia Flght: Three more Bodies Recovered From Java Sea.
Three more bodies were found early Wednesday during Indonesia's search for AirAsia Flight QZ8501 which disappeared from radar on Sunday en route to Singapore Two of the bodies were male and a female dressed in an air stewardess uniform report said. CNN reported this morning that the search and rescue team spotted an object in the Java Sea which may likely be the wreckage of the missing plane. Bad weather has hindered the search efforts as Helicopters were temporary grounded by strming weather. Three people were also recovered yesterday from Java sea.
Palestinian statehood reolution fails at UN Security Council.
The UN Security Ciuncil on Tuesday rejected a resolution on Palestinian statehood, with the Palestinians failing to get the minimum nine "Yes" votes required for adoption by the 15 UN Security Council members. Eight voted for the motion, and two voted against, with five abstentions, the times of Israel reported. US Ambassodor to the UN Samantha Power said in comments after the vote that instead of giving voice to the aspirations of both Palestinians and Israelis, this text addresses only one side.
AirAsia tragedy: bodies, debris found in Java Sea.
After three days of search, debris of the missing AirAsia aircraft carrying 155 passengers and 7 crew members was found on Tuesday in the Java Sea off Indonesia. The bodies were spotted along with debris floating in the sea. Only three bodies have so far been retrieved from the Sea. Report from reuters news agency said, Family members of those aboard AirAsia flighr 8501 collapsed in agony on Tuesday as images of debris and a bloated body flashed across Indonesian television sreen. It may recall that AirAsia plane was declared missing after taking of from Indonesia en route to Singapore.

Ebola Hits UK: Woman diagnosed with Ebola virus in Glasgow Gartnavel Hospital.
The first case of Ebola was diagnosed in the United Kingdom. The female patient is an NHS nurse who had just returned from Sierra Leone. She is currently being treated at the specialist Brownlee unit for infectious Diseases at Glasgow's Gartnaval Hospital, and is said to be in a stable condition. The woman had returned to Scotland on Sunday, arriving into Glasgrow Airport on a British Airways flight. She was reported to have screen both in Sierra Leone and Heathrow, but at that stage was not displaying any symprons, The Independent reported.
13 people killed in fire in Lahore market in Pakistan.
13 people lost their lives in a market fire at a four -storey manufacturing and retail building in Lahore, Pakistan. Samaa TV reported the majority of the casualties were first-floor shopkeppers, and the city government's district coordination officer said, "most of the people died as a result of suffocation and not from the blaze itself". The fire incident came few days after a similar incident at the Karachi, Pakistan, Timber market in which three multi-storey buildings, stockd with wood, burned.

. The missing Indonesia AirAsia flight QZ8501 is likely to be at the bottom of the Sea, the head of Indonesia's search and -rescue agency has said. Banbang Soecistyo said the hypothesis was based on the co-ordinates of the plane when contact with it was lost, BBC and CNN reported. The plane disappeared from the radar yesterday with 155 passengers and 7 crew members. The search for the plane has ended fr the second day with trace of the plane. It may recall that Malaysia plane disappeared from radar months ago and till now the plane and the passengers are no where to found.
41 Boko Haram militants killed in wave of attack __ Cameroonian authorities.
Cameroon's army says its forces killed 41 Islamist militants as it fought off a wave of attacks along its border with Nigeria over the weekend. Soldiers responded to raids on the towns of Makary, Ameche, Limani and Achigachia near the boarder with Nigeria, government spokesman Issa Tchiroma Bakary said in a statement. At least 34 fighters were killed whenthe Cameroonians attack a Boko Haram base camp at Shogori, while an exchange of fire at Waza left seven militants dead Bakary said.

Al-shabab leader wanted by US captured by Somalia troops.
Report from VOA said Samalia authorities had captured one of the most wanted al-shabab commanders. Zakariye Ismail Hersi was captured in a raid Saturday morning in the town of El wak. The commander of Somali government troops in the Southern Gedo region told Voice of America, that Somalia authorities received a tip that Al-shabab suspect was hiding in a house. Somalia troops quickly moved in and he was arrested without any resistant from him despite that he was with a Pistle. The US authorities put 3 million dollars reward for the capture or whereabout of him. He was reported to have said that he was no longer a member of Alshabab.

Zimbabwe police have appealed to members of the public to come forward and give information in the identification of a human head that was found on christmas Day at the middle of the road inw western province of the country. In a statement, the police spokesperson superintendent Paul Nyathi said the human head was found lying on the middle of the road. The police appealed to people to come up with useful information about the head.

Malaysia authorities evacuated more than 130,000 people as the worst floods in decades left at least 10 people dead. Report said more than 320 were displaced in Negeri Sembilan. Eight states were seriously affected by the heavy rainfall that began ten 10 days ago, state news agency, Bernama reported. Among the dead was a little baby who was swept away by currents after falling from her mother's arms on their way to a relief centre, Associated press reported. 19 Soldiers were reported killed in Libya by radical militant group.
Nineteen Libyan soldiers were reported killed in clashes with radical fighters on Thursday, eastern part of the country, officials said. A military source said the soldiers were killed in an attacks launched by the Faji Libya movement in Sirte. A rocket also hit a storage tank in the oil port as armed factions allied to competing governments fought for control of the country's biggest export terminal, Arab news abd Aljazeera news network reported. An oil ministry ofgicial said the tank was still on fire. Smoke could be seen on pictures posted on social media.

Three African union soldiers and a civilian were injured on christmas day after Al-shebab launched deadly attack onAfrican union military base headquarters in Somalia. Iran kicks off massive military drills in show of strength. The drills is on going hundreds of kilometers from strait of Hormuz to Gulf of Aden, local media reported. World oldest Facebook user died at the age of 114 .
A woman believed to be the oldest Facebook user is dead. The woman's family said the 114 year-old Anna Stoehr died on Sunday. Thewoman said in october that she had to lie about her age to sign up for the social network. She leaes five children, 27 grand children and 12 great-grand children.

Hamas commander killed, Israel soldier injured in clashes near Gaza.
Israel military said its patrols vehicle came under fire from sniper inside the Gaza strip. Israeli jets and ground forces targeted Hamas's military positions in the southern part of the strip in response to the sniper fired. Lt. col. Suicide bomber kills 38 people in a towm near Iraqi capital Baghdad.
A suicide bomber yesterday killed 38 people and wounded dozens more in a town near Iraqi capital capital Baghdad, police said. The attacker detonated explosives in al-Madaan, as council members were collecting their monthly pay-checks at the council headquarters. Those affected were reported to be Awakening council members. At least 55 persons were wounded in the bombing, police said.

Ukraine paliament overwhelmingly votes to drop non-aligned status.
Ukraine's paliament has voted to drop the country's non-aligned status and work towards Nato membership, BBC reported. Report: Cameroon military Dismantles Boko Haram camp, kill many insurgents.
Cameroon's army have reported to have dismantled a training camp for the Boko Haram Insurgents group, arresting and killing dozens of militants, the army said on Monday, adding that it "seized 84 children who were being trained there. Local people in northern Cameroon were reported to hae alerted the military on Saturday to the camp in Guirviding locality, naear the border with north eastern Nigeria, said Colonel Didier Badjeck, spokesman of Cameroon's Ministry of Defence. He said " 84 children between the age seven and 15 who were undergoing training in the camp, were seize and 45 insurgents who were training the children were also arrested".

Report: Over 230 dead bodies found in mass grave in eastern Syria.
More than 230 bodies of people believed to be killed by Islamic state militants (ISIS) have been found in a mass grave in Deir al-zor province in Syria, activists said, on wednesday. The bodies were thought to be members of al-sheitaat tribe which had battled Islamic state militants, British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and activist monitoring the conflict said. Islamic state fighters are currently battling syrian president Bashar al-Assad's forces near Deir al-zor city for a military air base that is one of the Government's last strongholds in the country's east.
Jordan hangs eleven (11) men after eight-Years halt to death penalty.
Human right groups criticised Jordan after the country ended an eight moratorium on the death penalty, with the hangings of 11 men convinced of murder. The men were said to have executed at dawn on Sunday in a prison close to Jordanian capital Amman, interior ministry spokesman Ziyad Zoobi said according to Petra news agency. The last executions in Jordan were 2006 and 122 people have since been sentenced to death. Rights group denounced the ending of the Moratonum.
