Breaking news: Severe cold kills 31 in North India state of Uttar Pradesh



       At least 31 people have died across Uttar Pradesh India due to the intense cold weather condition, officials said Tuesday. A drop in the mercury accompanied with a dense fog delayed trains and forced authorities to shut schools till december 28. According to local officials, eight people died in Uttar Pradesh's east because of bad weather, while 23 others also lost their lives in the western part of the India state. Minimum temperatures in Uttar Pradesh's western towns has ranged from 2.5 to 3.5 degree celsius. This winter is considered as a harsh one by local standard. The homeless people who live on the roads with  no shelters burn wood.
