Ukraine paliament overwhelmingly votes to drop non-aligned status.

Ukraine's paliament has voted to drop the country's non-aligned status and work towards Nato membership, BBC reported. Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko pledged to seek Nato membership over Russian support for rebels in the eastern part of the country. In a vote in Ukraine's paliament on Tuesday, members of paliament overwhelmingly back the move by 303 to eight. Russian foreign  minister condermed the move, called the move "counter productive" and said it would boost tentions.
