Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday confirmed that Israel had acquired four new sa'ar -class warships from Germany. The Times of Israel reported. Netanyahu said the deal with Germany for the corvettes was reached earlier in the week According to Israel channel 2, the deal was signed earlier in the week by the Defense ministry director and head of Israel Natinal security council. Nethanyahu said the state of Israel is building its defense force year by year, from decade to decade, with planes, submarine, air defense systems, and with some of the most sophisicated offenseive weapons.
