Bodo tribal fighters kills 48 people in India state of Assam.

        At least 48 people have been reported killed by Bodo rebel fighters in the northeastern India state of Assam, police sources said. Report said, members of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland opened fire indiscriminately at Saralpare village on Tuesday killing 48 people and wound many others. This happen as a result of a joint team of Assam police and Indian army  killed two Bodo fighters in Chiran district on Sunday. The banned Natinal Democratic Front of Bodoland has been struggling for freedom since 1998.
