Syria Army Repels Jihadist Advance on key AirBase and kill more 100 jihadist fihghters.

        Syria troops have repelled an attack by jihadist from Islamic State group on a key military airbase in the eastern Deir Ezzor province, a Syria Observatory for Human Right said. " Troops from and pro-regime militia stopped the attack that Islamic state launched on the Deir Ezzor military airport", the report said, adding that both sides suffered heavy losses in the fighting. The observatory said more than 100 jihadist fighters had been killed n fighting for the base since Wednesday. Pro-regime forces also suffered heavy causuaties, with some 59 troops killed, it said.
