At least 34 people have been killed in a deadly shooting rampage suspected to be a gang clashed, in a Brazilian city. The killings are believed to be carried out by a criminal group in Mananus, the capital of Amazonas which is located in the middle of the Amazon rain forest, CNCNEWS reported. Attorney General of Amazonas Fabio Monteiro said at a press conference that the body counted over the weekend was "unacceptable" and the" situation had become grave". No further details about the perpetrators and the reasons behind the muders were given.
