US airstrike kills senior al-Qqaeda leader Mushin al-Fadhli in Syria.

    The leader of al-Qaeda's Khorasan Group have been killed in an airstrike by the US-led coalition in northern Syria, the Pentagon said Tuesday. Mushin al-Fadhli was reported killed in a "Kinetic strike" in Sarmada, Syria, nbc News said citing Pentagon spokesman. The 34-year-old Kuwati-born was a member of the Khorasan extremist group. The US State Department had posted 7 million US dollars reward for information leading to Fadhi's death or arrest.According to the Pentagon spokeman, al-Fadhli was "among the few trusted alQaeda leaders that recived advanced notication of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack".
