U.S president Barack Obama met Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari at the Oval office of the White House this afternoon. President Obama praised him for working to bring "satefty, security and peace" to a nation faced by economic strains, corruption and militant threat, according to AFP. The two leader discussed the need to cooperates on security issues, including the threat possed by Boko Haram Islamist group,White House spokesman Josh Earnest said, according to reuters news agency.
