Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari arrives in the United States ahead of meeting with Obama.

Nigerian president Mohammadu Buhari has arrived Andrews International Airport, Washington DC, ahead of a meeting with president Obama, local media reported. The president special assistant on media and publicity confirmed on a post on Tweeter. President Obama and his Nigeria counterpart are expected to dicuss the threat possed by Islamist Boko Haram who claimed loyalties to Islamic States group that control large territory in Syria and Iraq. Boko Haram has killed hundreds of civilians since President Muhammadu Buhari resumed office as the nation's president. US cooperation with past immediate presdent Goidluck Jonathan didn't really go well over issues including his refusal to investigate corruption and human rights abuses by the Nigeria military.
