At least 48 killed in Yemen's port city of Aden after Houth rebels fires artillery and rockets.

    Iran -backed Houth rebels shelling in Yemen's port city of Aden has claimed the lives of 48 people, Hisham Bashraeel, deputy editor of local newspaper told Aljazeera in its news bulletin. According to the deputy editor of Al Ayyam newspaper when speaking to Aljazeera, said the Iran-backed Houthi rebels sensed defeat and as a result, the rebels started firing artillery and rocket to civilian areas. He ellaborated further that 142 people were injured and 10 children were among the casulties figure. Houthi rebels advanced to Aden in an attempt to captured the president which prompted him to fled to Saudi Arabia. Since them, neighbouring Saudi Arabia formed Arab coalition and started bombarding the rebels in an effort to stop Houthi advances. The airstrikes did not really acheive any goal except recently when the southern fighter supporting the legitimate president, claimed to had drove the Houthi out of Aden and captured the Aden international airport.
