Moammar Gaddafi's son Saif-al-Islam sentences to death by Tripoli court over war crime.

Saif-al-Islam, the son of the former Libya strongman Moammar Gaddafi has been sentenced to death for war crime in the 2011 Libya bloody revolution which eventually led to the death of Moammar Gaddafi. Saif-al-Islam was not physically present in the court and he is unlikely that he would be executed because he is been held by militia group in Zintan who captured him in 2011 while tried to escaped from the country. The militoa group has so far refused to release him to authority in Tripoli because they fear he might be set free. Saif-al-Islam was the trusted son of Gaddafi who stood by his father to bloodly cracked down on protesters who demanded Gaddafi ouster in 2011.
