At least 8 Afghanistan army have been killed after US helicopter carried out air assault on Afghan army outpost in eastern Logar province monday, WBAL TV reported citing CNN. According to police chief Mohammad Daud Ahmadi, the air strikes took place around 07.30 a.m Afghan time. The strikes was reportedly to have targeted Taliban militants who are operating in the area but it seems the intelligence failed which led the pilot to mistakely hit government army targets.
