Al-shabaab attack on Garissa University Kenya, death toll rises to 147.

       The death toll at a Garissa University in northeastern Kenya has reached 147 after an attack by the Somali terrorist group al-shabaab. The victims were primarily students, but two police officers and a member of the milutary were killed as well. The gunmen used AK-47s to carry out the attack. Four suspected terrorists were killed by security forces. A fifth suspect was arrested. Reuters news agency reports that the White House is offering US assistance to Kenya in taking on the Al-shabaab militant group. Twitter acount of Kenya's National Disaster Operation centre and Kenyan media reported that 147 people lost their lives, 79 people were injured and 587 people were evacuated.
