UN Security Council imposes arms embargo on Houthi rebels.

The United Nations Security Council Tuesday passes resolution that aso backlistd Houthi rebels leader and son of former president, Aljazeera news network reported. The vote Tuesday was 14-0, with Russia abstaining. The resolution is aimed at ending the Houthis military campaign against supporters of Yemen embattled president Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi. The resolution effectively imposed an arms embargo on the Iran-back Houthi rebels who controls most of the country and forced the legitimate president Hadi to fled for safety in Saudi Arabia. Saudi led a mililitary air bombardment against the Houthi rebels. Saudi led coalition spokesman said few days ago that about 500 Houthi fighters have been killed so far in crashed between Yemen Houthi fighers and Saudi border guards, which also led to the death of about six Saudi soldiers so far. The coalition spokesman also said the coalition air campaign had successfully destroyed Houthi ballistic missiles.
