India prime minister Modi arrives in France.

       India prime minister Narendra Modi arrived in France on Friday as parts of a trabs-Atlantic tour. French president Francois Hollande was meeting Friday with Modi for a news conference and working dinner, French media reported. Visiting India prime minister Modi in a news conference with French president announced Friday that India would buy 36 of the fighter plane from France. "keeping in mind the critical operational necessity of fighter jets in India, I have talked to him (Hollande) and request for 36 Rafale jets in flyaway condition as quickly as possible under a government-to- government deal", he said. Modi is expected to spend nine days in Europe. After France visit, he is expected to visit Germany, and Canada, with objective of holding bilateral talks.
