Three Saudi soldiers killed by Houthi rebels mortar shell.

     Three Saudi soldiers were killed in clashes with Yemen's shiite Houthi rebels along Saudi Arabia southern border with Yemen, a Defence Ministry statement carried by the Saudi State news agency SPA said on Saturday. The Saudi forces responded with gunfire, the statement said. The ministry statement also elaborated that since its air campaign against the Iran-back Houthi rebels, 500 rebels fighters have been killed along the border. The mortar attack brings the total number of causualties for Saudi troops in the Yemen's conflict to six. Saudi led coalition spokesman Brigadier General Ahmed al-Assiri told journalist the air raids had neutralized the air and ballistic capabilities of the rebels and the allies.
