Two killed as protests in Burundi after the cuntry's ruling party nominated president Pierre Nkurunziza for third term.


         Hundreds of people in Burundi protested in the capital Sunday after the country's ruling party nominated president Pierre Nkurunziza to run for a third term in office. Oppisition figures and human Right groups say the president's effort to cling to power is unconstitutional. Sernior government ministers in Burundi warned Monday that the government would not shy away from mobilizing the army against demostrators protesting president Pierre plan to seek a third term in office. Two protesters were shot dead in cashes with police in the capital, Bujumbura. Witness said that one of the protesters was killed in the Ngagara district and the other one in the Musaga district of the capital Bujumbura.
