US defense secretary Ashton Carter said on Friday that the current framework for a deal with Iran does not take the military option off the table. He said American bunker busting bombs that can penetrate and destror underground Iranian nucear facilities are ready to use. "We have the capability to shut down, set back and destroy the Iranian nuclear program and I believe the Iranian know that and understand that", he told CNN in an interview. He said a deal with Iran would not be based on "trust" but on verification. His statement come after Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khameni said Iran will not accept a deal that include "unconventionl inspection".
