Kenya airforce bomb al-shabaab camps in retaliation for Garissa attack.

Kenya airforce jet bombed two as-shabaab camps in Somalia on Monday, a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) source said. Fighter plane pounded the camps in Gondodowe and Ismail, both in the Gedo region bordering Kenya, the military source said on Monday. This is the first response to the attack on Garissa University Thursday that left 148 people dead, Kenya local media reported. There have been no reports of causualties. Cloud cover made it difficult to establish how much damage the bombings caused or estiate the death toll. The airstrikes folliw threats by president Uhuru Kenyatta that he would retaliate "in the severest possible way" against the terrorist group.
