A powerful earthquake struck Nepal on Saturday killing more than 1300 people across the country. Initial death toll immediately after the quake was put at 114 and rescue operation continue to search for survivor. Later, death toll climbed 876 according to Nepalese online sources and main stream media. Reporting coming out from social media saying death toll has climbed 1341 according to the Nepalese police. Another 34 people were killed in India, 12 were killed in Tibet and two people lost their lives in Bangladesh. Two Chinese citizens died in the Nepal- China border as the after shock of the earthquake were felt accross the region.
