The death toll in the powerful earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday has risen to 876, a home ministry official said. The quake struck Nepal and parts of northern India and was also felt in India, Malaysia and Bangladesh. The powerful earthquake destroyed several buildings including a UNESCO World Heritage site, indiatimes reported.
