Egypt says 25 islamist militants killed in Sinai airstrikes.

        Egyptian airstrikes hit militant targets near the town of Sheikh Zuweid, destroying explosive coaches, weapons and killed at least 25 militants operating in the area. The air assault came days after the country's president visited troops in the province to rally support for soldiers after the militants attack killed 17 Egyptian troops, local media reported. A source said Egyptian Apache helicopters attack two homes in Sheikh Zuweid. Clashes esclated recently after the militants affiliates to the Islamic State launched a major attack against security forces in Sinai. The militants fired rocket into neighouring Israel in the middle of the week but no casualties  was recorded.
