About 100 bodies' some headless, found in mass grave in Nigeria town of Damasak.

             Soldiers from Niger and Chad have discovered the bodies of about 100 people, many of them, beheaded, dumped near a bridge in Damasak, local media reported. The bodies found were believed to be corpses of the hostages who resisted the militants, a source said.  Colonel Azem Bermandoa Agouna was quoted saying about 100 bodies spred around under the bridge just outside the town of Damasak. He claimed the massacre probably happened about two months ago and blamed it on the Boko Haram armed group from Nigeria. Colonel Bermandoa Agouna  told AFP, that several of the victims had been decapitated while others had been shot. In the renewed offensive, out of three states, where the Boko Haram militants have been trying to establish an Islamic State, have been reclaimed from them. Troops from Nigeria, Chad on Sunday retook the town of Damasak, where the bodies were found. According to a Chadian Army source, some 200 Boko Haram figjters were killed in the offensive, while 10 Chadian soldiers were killed, 20 wounded.
