Two Aljazeera news network journalists working for the network in Nigeria have been arrested, local media reported. Almed Idris amed Mustafa Andy were on Wednesday arrested by the Ngeria military in Maiduguri, Borno State for loitering in areas where military operations are till ongoing. The military said the journalists were monitored by intelligence operatives and were finally restrained to their hotel rooms in Maiduguri. The miltary said that their activities were aimed at " interfering with ongoing military operations in the area" "The motive, activities and some materials in possession of these individuals are now being inestigated", The country Defense Headquarters said.
