A U.S drone strike killed nine pakistani Taliban Islamist militants in northeastern Afghanistan. According reports, one of the strikes struck the position of pro -Taliban milutants near the Pakistai border in Kunar province on Tuesday. The attack was reported to have killed nine Pakistani militants including several high ranking commanders. Most of the dead were identified including one Shakir Sipah, driver of Mangal Bagh, the chief of Lashkar -T-Islam group. " Nine milutants were killed in the attack", a Pakistani security official said. Pakistani military plane have been pounding positions of Taliban militants in Tirah valley in Pakistan khber region and the military says it has killed dozens of Taliban fighters.
