At least 22 killed as gunmen attacks a popular Museum in Tunisia.


           At least 22 people most of them tourists lost their lives when terrorist gunmen attack Bardo museum in Tunisia on Wednesday. The attackers opened fire at a major museum, gunning down many people as dozens more sprinted to safety, Tunisia local media and Aljazeera reported. Tunisia prime minister Habib Essid said the standoff, in which a policeman and others lost their lives was over. Italian, German, Polish and Spanish tourists were amongst those killed in the attackon the museum according to Reuters news agency. The attack began at a time when hundredsof visitors were on their way into the museum. According to AP, Tunisian state televsion saysthe death toll has risen to 22 but Aljazeera news at 5pm local time (GMT +1)  put the death toll at 24.
