At least 17 people, including a Somali ambassador and soldiers, were killed in the attack that began Friday with a car bomb explosion, Voice of America reported. A powerful explosion struck Makka al-Mukarama hotel followed by a gunfire. Meanwhile , gunfire has stopped and security agents have accessed the who building, said senior police officer Capt. Mohammed Hussein.The attack began after a suicide bomber blew up a car at the gate of the Maa al Mukaramah htel, which is popuar with foriegners. About four armed terrorist entered the building and killed anyone they came across, the Associated press reported. Alshabaab spokesman claimed responsibility of the deadly attack.
