Pakistan hangs 12 convicts in a single day.

      Twelve male convicts have been hanged in Pakistan on Tuesday, an interior Ministry spikesnan said. Voice of America reported tuesday that the execution was the largest number of people executed on the same day since unofficial moratorium on capital punishment was lifted in December, 2014. International Business Times reported that a total of 39 people have been hanged so far in Pakistan since the government reinstated the capital punishment after a deadly massacre in a military secondary sechool in Peshawar by Taliban. Meanwhile, report from Lahore Pakistan said that paramilitary forces have been deployed to prevent more rioting by minority christians after the deadly Taliban atrack in two churches that claimed 17 lives.
