Some 300 people in India have been arrested over cheating in exams after footage showed parents and friends scaled the walls of a school building to give answers and cheat sheets to high school students taking exams. State Education minister Prashant Kumar was quoted saying at a news conference "should we shoot them"? "On average, four or five persons are helping each student use unfair means". More than 600 students have reportedly been expelled in connection with the embarassing incident. The was reported to have occured in the eastern stateof Bihar. The incident has recieved widespread attention after India television footage showed parents and friends f student climbing the outer walls of school buildings to pass cheat sheet to students inside examination hall.
