Houthi fighters captures airport in South Yemen city as US withdraws troops.

Yemen's Houthi fighters have captured parts of the southern city of Taiz and its airport and are pushing to seize more territory  across the country, Aljazeera news network reported. The Houthi rebels backed by Iran, now controlled much of northern Yemen, while the south is dominated by allies of Hadi. On Saturday, the US said it was withdrawing its troops from the country due to the worsening security situation. The rebels seized the airport in Taiz, the Yemen third largest city, on Sunday after clashes with forces loyal to Hadi, AFP news agency reported. The seizure on Sunday comes a day after the Houthi rebels called for a geberal mobilization against forces loyal to the embattled president, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.
